Heat/cold packs

Muscles and joints love heat. It is commonly used before and after activity as well as to promote general relaxation of the muscles. It is also used regularly in clinical settings to address soft tissue injury and promote rehabilitation.

Whenever a muscle, joint, lump or bump is inflamed, swollen or acutely painful, cryotherapy can be a great first treatment. Cold therapy is most effective at reducing inflammation and swelling in superficial structures such as joints, tendons, and ligaments.
